Meaningful Play Awaits
How MAGNA-TILESY Took Shape Over Three Decades
In the late 1990s a parent and educator packed magnetic shapes into a van and drove from show to show, putting tiles in the hands of teachers. Those early classroom visits became the start of a building system families still grow up with. What began as a traveling sample kit is now a catalog of sets made for open-ended play.
Meaningful Play has always led the way
Play works best when children decide the next piece. Stacking, knocking down, and rebuilding trains planning, talking through ideas, and trying again without a script.
Play That Grows With Them
The same tiles move from first houses to sprawling towns as children get older, so a starter set still belongs in the playroom years later.
What we hold to on every set
Materials and magnets are chosen for little hands. We test to published toy standards and skip shortcuts that would make a tile cheaper at the cost of durability.
New MAGNA-TILESY sets click with older ones. A box you buy this season works with pieces already on the floor.
There is no booklet to lose. Builds start from curiosity, not a numbered diagram.
